The FasTracks transit expansion in Denver, specifically the North Metro Rail Line, is due to be completed by 2018.

The project will cost $7.8 billion, and will be six new rail lines totalling 120 miles.

The imagery is taken from an aircraft with a camera system designed and built by Nearmap. The system incorporates an array of cameras and GPS. It is highly automated and does not require a dedicated operator. The pilot simply follows the pre-prepared flight plan, flying the flight lines presented by the flight management system on the pilot’s display.
