Elaine L. Chao is the U.S. Secretary of Transportation. Speaking at the Transportation Research Board conference in Washington, D.C., Chao revealed that USDOT is taking steps to make some major decisions about proposed regulations on the use of drone technology and new guidance on the government’s approach to autonomous vehicles.
