Todd Danielson, Informed Infrastructure’s editorial director, interviewed Johnny McGlone, GIS Manager, Digital Solutions, STV Inc.

They discussed a project McGlone and his team presented at the recent Esri IMGIS conference, "Pedals and Platforms: A Spatial Look at Bike and Subway Access." The case study used public data to analyze the safety and effectiveness of transit access points for cyclists in Brooklyn, New York City. While the project itself was robust in its analyses, McGlone stressed the importance of approaching such a problem with a diverse team.
