. A Weidlinger-Navarro Northern New Mexico Joint Venture provided complete architectural and engineering design and construction phase services to the Los Alamos National Laboratory for the project. Thornton Tomasetti is the managing partner of the joint venture, which also includes Navarro Research and Engineering and Rock Gap Engineering, and was structural engineer of record. The project consists of multiple buildings, including an operations facility, a utilities building, five storage buildings and a storage and characterization structure for the staging of newly generated solid TRU waste. Principal Jim Weeks of the Weidlinger Applied Science practice served as JV program manager and the structural engineer of record. JB Henderson Construction was the general contractor.
