Integrate Construction Partners Breaks Ground on $11.7 Million Municipal Maintenance Facility for City of Clayton, MO

St. Louis, MO (Jan. 27, 2026) Integrate Construction Partners (Integrate) has been selected as the general contractor for a new Municipal Maintenance Facility for the City of Clayton, MO. The $11.7 million, multi-phase project includes renovation of existing buildings and construction of several new structures to support the city’s long-term public works and parks department needs. A groundbreaking ceremony for the project was held in mid-October 2025.

Clayton is the county seat of St. Louis County, bordering the City of St. Louis. Organized in 1877, the city has a population of over 17,350 with neighborhoods consisting of apartment buildings, mansions, and single-family homes centered around several small business districts.

Integrate is working with Navigate Building Solutions, the owner’s representative, on the project which includes:

  • Renovation of an existing 24,000 sq ft, single-story public works and parks department building to include infrastructure upgrades, a new garage door, updated heating systems and energy-efficient lighting.
  • Selective demolition of an older facility, with portions of its interior and select structural walls removed and rebuilt to accommodate new office space.
  • Renovation of a third building with new lighting and HVAC systems.
  • Sitework to support departmental operations.
  • Construction of a new 6,200-sq-ft, single-story fleet maintenance building to allow operations to transition out of older facilities into a modern, purpose-built space.
  • Construction of a new 1,500-sq-ft wash bay building.
  • Construction of a new 2,000-sq-ft parking canopy.
  • Construction of a new 6,700-sq-ft truck storage canopy.

“Projects like this require thoughtful planning and close collaboration, especially when construction is phased and operations must continue,” said Scott Zola, President of Integrate Construction Partners. “We’re excited to work alongside the City of Clayton and Navigate Building Solutions to deliver modern facilities that meet today’s needs while positioning the city for the future.”

The final phase of the project is expected to be completed by September 2026. The architect on the project is H Design Group based in Springfield, MO.
