Los Angeles Business Journal’s ranking includes employee confidence in HNTB’s leadership.

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles offices of HNTB Corporation, an infrastructure solutions firm, are among the 2020 Best Places to Work in LA, according to the Los Angeles Business Journal.

The 14th annual ranking conducted by the publication recognizes companies with the highest levels of employee satisfaction and engagement as measured from input to a confidential survey assessing employee attitudes toward the firm’s leadership, culture, training and work environment. An evaluation of HNTB’s corporate practices, policies, philosophy and demographics also are included in the ranking.

The top 100 rankings were revealed at a virtual event on Aug. 5, 2020, and will be published in the Aug. 10, 2020, issue of the Los Angeles Business Journal. HNTB ranked No. 31 in the large-sized company category (250+ U.S. employees).

“As we continue to serve clients in Southern California and across the country, this is a tremendous honor for HNTB and our Los Angeles offices. It confirms what we’ve known for a long time: HNTB is a top-tier employer of choice,” said Tom Ellis, PE, Southern California office leader. “We strive to provide a collaborative environment where every person has the opportunity for personal and professional growth. This honor only intensifies our drive to have the strongest team working on the most challenging infrastructure projects.”

HNTB is a leading infrastructure solutions firm in the U.S., with roots to the West since beginning work on Pasadena’s Arroyo Seco Bridge in 1914, the firm’s first year of operation, and has since been involved in some of the region’s most high-profile, complex infrastructure programs.
