Dewberry Promotes David Vidikan to Vice President


















Dewberry has announced the promotion of David Vidikan, PE, to vice president in the firm's Denver, Colorado, office. Vidikan has extensive experience working with municipal, industrial, and commercial water and wastewater infrastructure clients.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Vidikan has delivered more than 150 water and wastewater projects, including treatment plant designs, water transmission and distribution pipelines, pumping stations, interceptor sewers, and a variety of other water/wastewater projects spanning the Denver-area market.

As business unit manager, he is responsible for project execution, providing business performance leadership, and overseeing client and business development initiatives. After joining Dewberry in 2014, Vidikan began supporting the team working on the Rueter-Hess Water Purification Facility that the firm designed in Parker, Colorado, which treats water for the community's 50,000 residents. The project won the grand prize for environmental sustainability in the 2016 Excellence in Environmental Engineering competition, awarded by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists.

In addition to earning a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Akron, Vidikan also earned his Occupational Safety and Health Administration certification and has completed multiple project management certification courses. He is a professional engineer in Colorado and a member of the Water Environment Federation, the American Water Works Association, and the Colorado Water Congress.

His work has been presented at multiple conferences and published in magazines, including Water Environment and Technology.
