CI Student Days 2026: Applications Now Open!
Get ready for an unforgettable week of hands‑on learning, industry exposure, and real‑world problem‑solving.
The Construction Institute and our Industry Sponsors will be covering flights and hotel accommodations for all selected students. This is an opportunity to build your skills, expand your network, and experience the construction industry up close.
From July 30–August 4, 2026, students from across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico will gather in Kansas City, MO for an immersive program centered around a real‑world construction challenge. Participants will work in multidisciplinary teams to develop a written and oral proposal that addresses local regulations, traffic impacts, community needs, and technical considerations across civil, foundations, concrete, and steel erection.

Who Can Apply?
- Eligible applicants must be currently enrolled or expected to graduate from a university or college located in the United States, Canada, or Mexico no earlier than Spring 2026.
- You must be an ASCE Student Member to apply for the program. If you are not an ASCE member, join today.
Organized by the CI Young Professionals Council, CI Student Days offers a meaningful week of collaboration, mentorship, and practical experience that helps students strengthen their skills and prepare for future opportunities in the construction industry.
