On Friday 2 September, the UDIA held their sold out AFL Finals Luncheon at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. 2016 marks the 10th year that Cardno has been the major sponsor of this luncheon, with more than 400 people attending the popular industry event.
Martin Wells, Cardno Asia Pacific South Division Manager and UDIA NSW President, took the opportunity to thank our clients for their support, highlighting Cardno’s involvement in a number of significant urban developments throughout Australia and Victoria.
“This is the tenth consecutive year that Cardno has sponsored this event, which can be attributed to the professionalism and the outstanding work of the UDIA within the urban development industry” said Martin.

The luncheon was attended by AFL superstars, including Essendon Football Club’s Young Rising Star award winner, Dyson Heppell. Dyson spoke about his experience playing in the AFL as he was interviewed by award-winning AFL journalist, Damian Barrett, who delved into the young star’s career.
The event was once again a great success, and one that Cardno is proud to continue to support.
