As the global population increases and a demographic shift sends more people to urban areas, so too will the demand for adequate and more resilient infrastructure, including clean water and utility infrastructure, transportation, and other critical assets supporting life and the movement of people and goods.  Globally we face a $57 trillion infrastructure challenge, which can be overcome through improved design, construction, operations and maintenance of our civil infrastructure assets.
