The IBC annually recognizes individuals and projects of distinction.

The medals are named in honor of the distinguished engineers who have had a significant impact on the bridge engineering profession worldwide. Nominations are due the second week of January and presented at the Awards Dinner during the conference.

Project Medals: Award nominations must be “recent” projects, defined as within two years of the Awards ceremony.  For example, for the 2023 Award, projects should be completed between June 2021 and June 2023.
